In any right-angled triangle, as shown below there are three sides called h(hypotenuse), p(perpendicular), and b(base). Using these three sides we can find six different ratios which are known as trigonometric ratios.
They are as follows: "Let's assume that the reference angle is B."
- `\frac{p}{h}` termed as SinB (Sine)
- `\frac{h}{p}` termed as CosecB (Cosecant)
- `\frac{b}{h}` termed as CosB (Cosine)
- `\frac{h}{b}` termed as SecB (Secant)
- `\frac{p}{b}` termed as TanB (Tangent)
- `\frac{b}{p}` termed as CotB (Cotangent)
